Chris Brundage, Vice President - Sales
Chris Brundage leads the sales and business development initiatives for Paya's Business Services. He has over 19 years’ experience in sales and marketing, management, operations and business development. His area of concentration has been on delivering solutions to the small and mid-sized business markets. The past twelve years’ experience has been in the payment processing industry, specializing in the bankcard, ACH and check processing space.

He began with Paya when it was still Global eTelecom in 2001, responsible for creating Independent Sales Organizations nationwide. This resulted in the successful activation of over 20,000 new merchants per year. Subsequently promoted to additional senior management roles to manage company’s rapid growth, expand product offerings and improve operations.
John Laurell, Vice President - Technical Operations
John Laurell serves as Vice President of Technical Operations and has over 18 years of experience in the electronic payment processing industry. His primary responsibilities include the oversight of the company’s technical support, R&D, and product development. John has dedicated the past eleven years of his career to ACH/check processing and stored value solutions side of the business. His prior experience of credit and debit card processing comes to us through his tenure with Woodforest National Bank and a 5 year stint in Texaco’s credit card division.

John started with Paya when it was still Global eTelecom back in 2002 as the Director of Technical Support. He quickly proved himself in that position and was then promoted to Vice President in 2003. He has played a vital role in the development of our Check21 and gift and loyalty services, and his work keeps Paya, and all of its business partners, on technology’s cutting edge and leading the industry.
